Rapid process profiling
Process Profiler quickly and easily shows task lifecycle, CPU and I/O load, delay times, page faults, context switches and more in either snapshot trace mode or live continuous trace mode.
Small footprint trace utility
XSmon extracts system and user space information in snapshot mode or as a live continuous trace data stream available to process profiler over the network. The XSmon’s init-replacement mode produces a highly detailed capture of early user space activity. Minimal overhead makes this utility suitable for post start of production (SOP) usage for analysis and performance monitoring.
Top-down system analysis
System profiler uses the Linux tracepoint infrastructure found in the mainline kernel to graphically display task states, latencies, IRQs, system calls, and other Linux events for top-down system analysis.
